Considering the government’s advisory to avoid all travel to Israel since October 8, 2023, we recommend that you thoroughly understand your travel insurance coverage and exclusions if you decide to travel under these circumstances.

Please note that under certain conditions, the exclusion for acts of war and civil unrest has been temporarily lifted for Trip Cancellation or Interruption coverage for travel to Israel.

You can follow up on the status of a file by using the chat tool available at the bottom right of our Blue Cross Travel Assistance website. This more efficient and faster way to get a response is available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
